Thank you!
| Wirral
Transport Museum & Heritage Tramway would like to thank all our
visitors that have made the last year such a success. Since we
re-opened last July our new Tea Room has served hundreds of cups of tea
and coffee. Our stock range in the new sales kiosk has been increased.
We now have a range of Mugs, Fridge Magnets and Keyrings with pictures
of our trams and a couple of our buses. We have a range of childrens
cars, lorries and trains and also a small, but perfectly formed, range
of Oxford Die-cast models and more.

Heritage Railway Association Award
|
|
Wirral
Transport Musem & Heritage Tramway has received it's latest award,
the first of 2019. The Heritage Railway Association have recognised the
museum for its work on Liverpool tramcar 245. The recognition by such a
prestigious organisation as the HRA of the work carried out on the
tramcar since its arrival at the museum in May 2006 is a major boost to
all the volunteers involved in the restoration. It is also testimony to
the partnership between the Volunteers at the museum, National Museums
Liverpool who own Liverpool 245, & Wirral Borough Council who
facilitated its arrival at the museum.
